InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,540/kg on Thursday (9/11/2025). This represents a gain of Rp65/kg, or approximately 0.45%, compared to the highest bid of Rp14,475/kg on Wednesday (9/10/2025).
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Dumai was set at Rp14,540/kg. The price for FOB Talang Duku was set at Rp14,340/kg, while FOB Boom Baru was priced at Rp14,390/kg.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange reversed course and strengthened at the close of trading on Thursday. The rally was driven by supply concerns and higher soybean oil prices on the Chicago exchange. However, weak global demand kept the price increase limited.
The benchmark palm oil contract for November 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM40 per ton, or 0.91%, to RM4,453 (US$1,055.46) per ton. This increase ended a two-session downward trend.
A report from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) noted that Malaysian palm oil stocks soared to a 20-month high at the end of August, fueled by increased production and a slight decline in exports. However, total production for July–August was 1.87% lower than the same period last year.
At the same time, export performance remains sluggish. Data from Intertek Testing Services and AmSpec Agri Malaysia showed that Malaysian palm oil product shipments for September 1–10 fell between 1.2% and 8.4% compared to the same period the previous month.
