InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was withdrawn on Wednesday (9/10/2025) with the highest bid reaching Rp14,475/kg. This marks a decline of Rp150/Kg, or approximately 1.03%, compared to the previous day's price of Rp14,625/Kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Dumai opened at Rp14,525/Kg but was withdrawn, with the highest bid at Rp14,475/kg. Similarly, the FOB Talang Duku price opened at Rp14,325/Kg but was also withdrawn, with the highest bid reaching Rp14,280/kg.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange weakened again in Wednesday's trading, marking a decline for the second consecutive session. The pressure primarily stemmed from falling prices of competing vegetable oils on the Chicago and Dalian exchanges.
The benchmark CPO futures contract for November 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped by RM61 per ton, or 1.36%, to RM4,418 (US$1,049.16) per metric ton at the midday break.
A recent report from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) noted that the national CPO stock at the end of August increased by 4.18% from the previous month, reaching 2.2 million tons.
In the global market, the most active soyoil contract in Dalian fell by 1.21%, while the palm oil contract on the same exchange dropped by 1.48%. The price of soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) also weakened by 0.1%.
