MUKOMUKO – Head of Forestry; Forestry, Plantation, Livestock, Agriculture Agency, District of Mukomuko, Bengkulu Province, Fernandi, Thursday (12/3) mentioned, his side will check the report of the people, saying palm oil plantations are planted near the side of Nibung Lake.
“We will check the plantation,” he said as quoted from Antara Bengkulu, He explained, Nibung lake is in the conservation area which plantation is forbidden. So his agency will check if it is true or not.
“We will see then. If palm oil plantations are not more than 50 meters from the lake, it breaks the law,” he said. (T3)
