DUMAI – PT Wilmar Group lostsRp461 millions after the ship crew ofSPOB SamudraTirta XVII from Kumai, District WestKotawaringin, Central Kalimantan Province embezzled crude palm oil (CPO) belonging to the company.
The ship contained of 3.199.9888 tons of CPO and it decreased about 56.951 tons when being transfer to the container in the Wilmar’s factory in Subdistrict of MedangKampai, Dumai, Tuesday (10/3).
Wilmar Group’s officer, Marwan to Riau Terkinisaid, it is the next case in the company and we lost Rp461 millions.
“We know this when the ship laid in the Port of Wilmar Pelintung. The CPO decreased much. It is beyond the limits which reaching 56.951 tons,” he explained.
The company also had reported the case to the police on Wednesday morning.
Head of Resort Police, Dumai, AKBP Toni Hermawanthrough Head of Crime, AKP BimoAriyanto did not deny the report of CPO embezzlement belonging to Wilmar.
“It is true and we get the report and now it is still in process. At least there are 14 crews including the captain we have arrested. We are investigating them and one of them is a woman. (T3)
