CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom Stagnant on Wednesday (9/3), Malaysian Exchange Weakens

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,650/kg on Wednesday (9/3/2025), remaining unchanged from Tuesday's price of Rp14,650/Kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for both Franco Belawan and Dumai was set at Rp14,650/Kg. The Loco Pelaihari price opened at Rp14,096/Kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid reaching Rp13,556/Kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, CPO futures contracts on the Malaysian exchange corrected on Wednesday, following the weakening of other vegetable oils and global crude oil prices. Technical pressure from failing to break through key psychological levels also curbed market momentum.

The benchmark CPO futures contract for November 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by RM42 per ton, or 0.94%, to RM4,434 (US$1,054.46) per ton during the midday break. The day before, the contract price had strengthened by 2.19%.

Palm oil contracts on both the Malaysian and Dalian exchanges failed to break through their respective key levels of RM4,500 and 9,500 yuan. The most active soyoil contract on the Dalian exchange also weakened by 0.12%, and the palm oil contract on the same exchange dropped by 0.89%.

Soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade also weakened by 0.44%, adding pressure to the global palm oil market.
