InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,550/kg on Thursday (8/28/2025). This marks a decrease of approximately Rp100/Kg, or a 0.68% decline, compared to the CPO price of Rp14,650/Kg on Wednesday (8/27/2025).

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Dumai was set at Rp14,650/Kg. The price for Franco Teluk Bayur was set at Rp14,520/Kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, CPO futures contracts on the Malaysian exchange closed weaker on Thursday (8/29/2025), pressured by a decline in global soyoil prices. At the same time, plans for a trade meeting between the U.S. and China also caught the attention of market players.

The benchmark CPO futures contract for November 2025 delivery on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by RM40 per ton, or 0.89%, to RM4,448 (around US$1,057.79) per ton at the end of the session. The day before, the contract had briefly risen by 0.4%.

In other markets, the most active soyoil contract on the Dalian exchange fell 0.55%, the palm oil contract price plunged 1.09%, while soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade fell 0.3%.
