InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,699/kg on Monday (25/8/2025). This marks an increase of approximately Rp99/kg (0.68%) compared to the price on Friday (22/8/2025), which was Rp14,600/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan was set at Rp14,699/kg. The Franco Dumai price opened at Rp14,699/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid at Rp14,615/kg. The Loco Talang Duku price was set at Rp14,499/kg.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange slightly weakened on Monday, amidst concerns that recent high prices might put pressure on future demand. The benchmark CPO contract for November 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell RM22 per ton, or 0.49%, to RM4,507 (US$1,073.86) per ton during the midday break. This contract had previously gained 1.55% in the final trading session last week.
Elsewhere, the most active soyoil contract on the Dalian Exchange rose by 0.66%, while the palm oil contract on the same exchange strengthened by 0.5%. Conversely, soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade weakened by 0.45%.
