PALANGKARAYA – Government of Central Kalimantan together with Board of REDD+  on Friday, (25/5/2014) commemorated its provincial birthday the 57th with the theme “Mutual aid in local wisdom-base to develop peace, and wealth Central Kalimantan.”

In his speech as in the press release Board of REDD+ which InfoSAWIT had got, Friday (23/5/2014), Governor of Central Kalimantan Agustin Teras Narang said, by mutual aid and togetherness, all the potencies of the people will contribute the development acceleration. “We should maintain the local wisdoms which respond the modernization in productivity as the national idea,” he said.

Agustin also thanked the Central Government that trusts Central Kalimantan as the pilot project to run REDD+ programme. Beside that, he emphasized, his side would be ready to run the programme.

“Knowing the program is in national and international scale, as the Governor and the representation of the Central Government, I insist to be ready to run this programme and will not go back,” he emphasized. (T3)
