InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Shares of PT Jhonlin Agro Raya Tbk. (JARR), a palm oil company owned by businessman Haji Isam, have caught the attention of investors after a significant price increase over the last month. However, the company's management has confirmed there is no material information or corporate action plan driving the stock's surge.
In a statement to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), JARR Director Temmy Iskandar affirmed that the company is not aware of any fundamental factors that could drastically influence the stock's movement. "The company is not aware of any material information or facts that could affect the value of the company's securities," the management wrote in an official letter.
Stock Jumps 74%
The movement of JARR's stock has been remarkable. On July 24, 2025, the stock was trading at Rp450 per share. By Tuesday (19/8), its price had reached Rp785 per share, a 74% increase in less than a month. In a single day of trading, the stock even gained 6.08%, or Rp45. This sharp rise prompted a request for clarification from the BEI, given the stock's volatility without any corresponding announcements of corporate actions, acquisitions, or new business expansions.
The management confirmed that as of now, JARR has no plans for any corporate actions that could affect its share price. The company also dismissed the existence of any material events or specific shareholder activities that have not been disclosed to the public. "If the company plans to conduct any corporate action in the future, the company will inform the Stock Exchange in accordance with applicable regulations," the management wrote.
Established in 2014 in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, JARR focuses on palm oil plantations and processing. Although relatively young compared to older players, the company has started to gain investor attention amid the global trend of rising crude palm oil (CPO) prices. Nevertheless, analysts believe the stock's volatility over the past month is more driven by technical and market psychology factors than by fundamental business changes.
