InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at Rp14,726/kg on Tuesday (19/8/2025). This marks an increase of approximately Rp311/kg, a 2.16% jump from the highest bid price of Rp14,415/kg on Friday (15/8/2025).
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan, Kuala Tanjung & Dumai was set at Rp14,726/kg. Meanwhile, the price for Franco Teluk Bayur opened at Rp14,596/kg.
The price increase at KPBN aligns with the trend on the global market. Reuters reported that palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange continued their rally for a third consecutive day on Tuesday, even breaking a five-month high. The surge was supported by strengthening vegetable oil prices on the Dalian exchange and a weakening Malaysian ringgit, although lower crude oil prices limited the gains.
The benchmark palm oil futures contract for November 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM48 per ton, or 1.05%, to RM4,607 (US$1,090.41) per ton during the midday trading break.
On the Dalian Exchange, palm oil futures rose by 1.17%, while the most active soyoil contract (DBYcv1) strengthened by 0.19%. Conversely, soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) saw a slight decline of 0.28%.
