InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) experienced a withdrawal (WD) with the highest offered CPO price at Rp 14,715/kg on Tuesday (August 12, 2025). Consequently, the CPO price increased by approximately Rp 15/Kg or a rise of 0.1% compared to the CPO price on Monday (August 11, 2025), which reached Rp 14,700/Kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Dumai opened at Rp 14,825/Kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest offered CPO price at Rp 14,715/kg. The CPO price for Franco Belawan opened at Rp 14,825/Kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest offered CPO price at Rp 14,500/kg.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, palm oil futures contracts on the Malaysian Exchange strengthened for the third consecutive session on Tuesday (August 12, 2025), driven by rising vegetable oil prices on the Dalian Exchange in China.
The benchmark palm oil contract for October delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange rose RM. On the Dalian Exchange, the most active soyoil contract increased by 0.57%, while the palm oil contract surged by 2.86%. Soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade also strengthened by 0.28%.
The MPOB report noted that Malaysia's palm oil stocks in July reached the highest level in nearly two years, rising by 4.02% from the previous month to 2.11 million tons. This increase occurred alongside strong production outpacing demand growth.
Meanwhile, Malaysia's palm oil product exports from August 1 to 10 surged, according to Intertek Testing Services, by 23.3%, and according to AmSpec Agri Malaysia, by 23.7%.
