BANGKINANG - To increase the people's income in District of Kampar, Riau Province, the regional government is urging to build the palm oil downstream industry. One of it is by founding the palm oil factory which does not process CPO only but also soap and cooking oil.
To some media, Monday (9/3) Regent of Kampar, Jefry Noer explained, the palm oil factory is founded in Village of Sei Pinang, Subdistrict of Tambang within 120 tons per hour capacity. It is officially innagurated on March 12th, 2015.
The government founding the factory, Jefry continued as quoted from GoRiau, is to the business acceleration especially for the people's business, not for the businessmen.
“If for such a long time the palm oil factories just produce CPO and then it is exported to the foreign countries, Kampar founds the factory for cooking oil and the other derivatives," he explained. (T3)
