JAKARTA - Chairman of Indonesian Plantation Businessmen Association (IPBA), Hasri Darmawan told, there are some analysis saying, the world palm oil price keeps decreasing. So the crude palm oil (CPO) price will be too in global markets.
But he feels optimistic that the demands of CPO keep running good. Furthermore the government has regulated the subsidy of vegetable fuel, which makes the increasing price.
In addition, the government keeps supporting the use of CPO to be mixed to diesel (biodiesel). Beside that, palm oil could be used to the food and other ibgredients.
"So we hope, if the world price decreases, Indonesian markets keep being excited for our CPO consumers," (T3)
