MASAMBA – South Sulawesi Province is one region producing palm oil and the province will have new crude palm oil (CPO) factory in a village of Lampuawa, Subdistrict of Sukamaju, District of North Luwu.
Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association in the region mentioned, the building of the factory was running after the Regent of North Luwu, Arifin Junaidi, Monday (9/3) put the first stone.
“By the Grace of Allah, the Regent put the first stone to build the CPO factory," Chairman of IPOFA North Luwu, Rafiudin said as quoted from Palopo Pos.
He continued, the CPO factory is hoped by the farmers in the District for such a long time, the farmers themselves sold the fruit to the factory in Burau and Angkona, East Luwu. (T3)
