KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia as the second biggest palm oil producer in the world noted, the agricultural exports commodities in January 2015 decreased 13,4% to be RM 4.99 billions. These happened for the lower exports than palm oil or decreased 21,4% because of the falling volume and price.
“The mining exports in January were higher than the exports of crude palm oil (CPO),” Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) said, Friday (6/3).
MITI also explained, the export to the main markets were ASEAN (1,8%), Europe Union (3,7%), United States of America (18,1%), India (14,7%), Taiwan (RM 511.6 millions), Norway (RM 278.3 millions), Kenya (RM 209.1 millions) and South Africa (RM 197.7 millions).
He continued, as quoted from Bernama, the exports to Japan decreased to be RM7.45 billions than it in last year which reaching RM 7.52 billions while the exports to China decreased 22,7% to be RM 6.45 billions. (T3)
