SAMARINDA – To realize the 2 million cow population, Governor of East Kalimantan, Awang Faroek asked the palm oil and mining companies to run integrated cow programme in palm oil plantation and in the mining concession area had by the companies.

“I asked, don’t give the administration to the company  if there is no MoU about the cow integration programme and the mining company,” he said.

Quoting from the official website of Livestock Agency, East Kalimantan, Awang in the closing ceremony of the Integrated Coordination Meeting, 2015, in Lamin, Etam, Friday night (6/3) said, there was a hope to support the success of 2 million cow population in 2018 if it should be done with a force.

Now, cooperation should be run with other sides, such as, the district or city, provincial government, the private and the central government to run  the two million cow population successfully. (T3)
