PEKANBARU – Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (IPOFA) will visit Malaysia to meet the palm oil farmers and the government there, especially to the palm oil industries from the upstream to the downstream sectors.
The Secretary of the Regional Coordinator, IPOFA Riau, Rino Afrino, Sunday (8/3) as quoted from Riau Terkini, mentioned, tomorrow (or today) they consist of 15 men from the coodinators and will be in Malaysia.
“We want to know how and what they do to support the independent farmers,” he said.
He also explained, the visit is to know the success of cultivation of sustainable industries and plantation done by the farmers, businessmen, and the government – such as the replanting process to the independent farmers, the law enforcement and the supportive regulations. (T3)
