SAMARINDA – One by one, the investor starts to run their business in Kawasan Industri Pelabuhan Internasional (KIPI) Maloy, or International Port Industrial Region. Saturday (24/4/2014), PT Indonesia Plantation Energy (IPS) presented their plans to found integrated palm oil industry there.

Project Coordinator of IPS,Ridwan said, IPS was interested to found integrated palm oil industry in Maloy though the industry of IPS would be 10 km in distance from KIPI, Maloy. “We are making cooperation by founding integrated port for our industry was not far from KIPI Maloy,” Ridwan said.

Ridwan hoped, the cooperation will be supported by the government of East Kalimantan by getting the licence easily and tax remission. “We hope the government of East Kalimantan has the policy to realize in huge palm oil industrial region and get the huge income too by giving licence easily and tax remission,” Ridwan said.

On the other hand, Governor of East Kalimantan, Awang Faroek Ishak hoped the cooperation would be fast to realize Industrial Region Oleochemical bas in Special Economic Region Maloy Batuta Tranz Economic Zone. (T2)
