SINGAPURA – To increase palm oil production and to fulfill the vegetable oil needs, Kencana Agri Limited did new planting in 2014.
In the main plantation, the group did planting about 1.089 hectares (ha) while in the plasma planting about plasma 345 ha. The mature plants increase about 4.864 ha from 40.374 ha.
Beside that, on Friday (27/2), Kencana Agri also reported, that in 2014, the fresh fruit was reaching 527.118 tons, or increased 26% from 419.694 tons in 2013.
The crude palm oil (CPO) yield and crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) were 21,0% and 43,3%, or they were higher than the yeild and CPKO in last year which were 20,2% and 43,0%. (T3)
