SINGAPURA – By December 31st, 2014, one private company running palm oil plantation business, Golden Agri-Resources Ltd (GAR) booked, the total area of its palm oil plantation reached 472.800 hectares, which consisted of 372.000 hectaresof main plantation and 100.800 hectares of plasma plantation.
In the information, Friday (27/2), GAR claimed, the average trees of the plantation are 14 years of age and they produces 22,1 tons per hectares in 2014.
It is hoped, the result could increase in the long term with the continous improvement by running agronomical practices and the sustainable activities with the superior seeds
The fruit production developed 8 % to be 9.730.000 tons, while in 2014, the mature plantation increased 9.900 hectares. (T3)
