Bali, InfoSAWIT – The presense of Indonesian Palm Oil Businessmen Association (IPOBA) as the association of palm oil businessmen has specialty for the members for it is arranged in the Article of Association of IPOBA, Chapter VII, Sovereignty, the highest authority, Conference, Meeting, and Voting, article 17.

The Article of Association of IPOBA, Chapter VII, article 17 regulates about the severeignty of IPBA is in the members which is fully done through the National Conference, Extraordinary National Conference. It means, the Conference becomes the highest authority of the members to determine the association in the future.

Though in the 9th Conference, which in the previous time, there was held a pre Conference, based on the regulation in the Article of Association, the previous conference (pre Conference) had no official regulation for the pre conference was not  regulated in the Article of Association of IPOBA.
 

One source of InfoSAWIT questions the presence of pre conference which was never been held before and it is not regulated in the Article of Association of IPOBA until now.

For it is not regulated in the Article of Association, the presence of pre conference could be no more exist. So the result of the pre conference could not be the reference and the basic to make National Conference the 9th. “It seems strange, if the  result of the pre conference becomes the reference to run this conference for it is not regulated in the Article of the Association,” the source mentioned, and asked,”Why should this keep running if it is really breaking the Article?”(T1)
