JAKARTA – Palm oil derivative exports in this year are predicted to develop. Three downstream associations project, palm oil downstream exports could reach 13,8 millions of tons.

Quoting from Kaltim Post recently, palm oil downstream industries, such as, Indonesian Vegetable Oil Industrial Association, Biodiesel Producer Association and Oleochemical Company Association calculate, the  exports of palm oil downstream will slightly increase 13,8 millions of tons or 58% from total palm oil exports in 2015 which reaching 23,7 milllions of tons.

Though it slightly increases (0,5%) than it in last year (13,7 millions of tons) but the export products of palm oil downstream industries were smaller than it in 2013 which reaching 13,9 millions of tons.

But, this year, palm oil downstream exports to Europe will increase. It is predicted that, the exports to Europe in 2014 reached 4,13 millions of tons or increased 3% from 4 millions of tons in 2013. (T3)
