KOICA Monitors the Waste Process in POF in Polkam

KAMPAR – Director of Politeknik Kampar (Polkam), Safni Marwa, Monday (16/2), said, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) regularly in every year monitor the Waste Process of palm oil factory (POF) in Polkam. KOICA does this to know the development and the continuity of the operation.

He said to Kamparkab, after it was operated in 2013, the waste process unit keeps operating as what it is planned. The palm oil waste process unit is the one waste process in Riau.

The  waste process is potential to be the research location, the place to study and positive one to the world for the successful waste process to the environment in Kampar for special, and in Riau for general.

For information, the liquid waste process unit was the gift from Government of Korea about, US$ 2,5 millions to produce biodiesel, biogas and electricity. It also becomes a training place to the employees to the good operational process in the factory. (T3)
