January, NTPR East Kalimantan Increased 1,41%

SAMARINDA - Nilai Tukar Petani Tanaman Perkebunan Rakyat (NTPR) or People’s Plantation Farmers Change Value in Kalimantan in January increased 1,41%, that was, 105,42% than it in December 2014 which reaching 103.95%.

Head of Central Statistic Agency, Aden Gultom said, the increasing NTPR happened for the increasing index which the farmers paid, that is, 1,19% if it is compared to the accepted index which decreased -0,22%.

The decreasing price index which is paid the farmer was influenced by the decreasing consumption index of the household about -0,22% and the index of BPPBM (biaya produksi dan penambahan barang modal) or modal additional value and production cost also increased -0,62%,” he recently said in the press conference in the office in East Kalimantan.
