JAKARTA – A non government organization, Tranformasi untuk Keadilan (TuK) Indonesia, mentioned, there are 25 groups of palm oil companies mastering 31 percents or 3,1 millions hectares area from the total palm oil area in Indonesia which reaching 10 millions of hectares.
“It is known from the statistic which the palm oil business groups give in the yearly report,” Officer in Duty, Programme Director of Transformasi untuk Keadilan, Indonesia, Rahmawati Retno Winarni said in Jakarta, (12/2).
As quoted from Antara, some of the 25 groups are Wilmar Group, Sinar Mas Group, Raja Garuda Mas Group, Batu Kawan Group, Salim Group, Jardine Matheson Group, Genting Group, Bakrie Group, DSN, Tiga Pilar Sejahtera, Sungai Budi, Kencana Agri, Triputra, Sampoerna Agro, Anglo-Estern, Tanjung Lingga, Austindo, Gozco, Rajawali, dan Provident.
