KETUNGAU HILIR – Regent of Sintang, Milton Crosy, Tuesday (3/2) officially announced palm oil company (POF) belonging to PT Buana Hijau Abadi, the Group of Triputra Agro Perada operating in Village of Maung, Subdistrict Ketungau Hilir, District of Sintang, West Kalimantan Province.

The POF, Crosby mentioned, will develop the district especially to realize the productive people in Sintang.

Managing Director for Trading & Downstream Group Triputra Agro Persada, Sutedjo Halim said, PT Hijau Buana Abadi (HBA) runs its business in Ketungau Hulu, Ketungau Tengah and Ketungau Hilir.

“We hope that there will be much benefits of the plantation enlargement and the building of the factory, especially to increase the welfare and income of the people, regional income, taxes, and the economy in District of Sintang in general,” he said as written in Kalimantan News.

Furthermore, he continued, the company has corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes, such as, making the access of transportation, way and bridge repair about 126 kilometres, the new way making about 222 kilometres, school and others.

Beside that the company also enlarges environment and sustainable palm oil plantations. (T3)
