Sultra–The regional government of North Sulawesi has its strong reason to support the people to develop palm oil, that is, to increase the welfare and economy of the region.
It is normal that the regions want to develop palm oil, such as, the people of North Sulawesi cover Region Kolaka, Konawe, South Konawe and North Konawe.
To increase the people’s economy, the government of North Sulawesi tried to increase the productivity and keep the price stable. Head of Economy Bureau, Government of North Sulawsi, Muhammad Faisal, it is known from the production incrasing programme, quality in the centers of production by giving th seeds. “Of the four regions, two of them have had palm oil factories, they are Kolaka and North Konawe,” he said.
The government of North Sulawesi thought, the opportunity and the potency of palm oil plantation to increase the productivities and the welfare of the farmers are promising because the price of the commodity is relatively stable.(T2)
