LONDON - Kingsmill and Allinson which are the divisions of Allied Bakeries, Friday (30/1) claimed, all crude palm oil (CPO) and the derivative in the products are 100% from sustainable sources.
The owner of the company mentioned, CPO is used about 90% and 10% is to the balace mass. The company has become the member of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil since 2010.
“We are proud of the progress so far that we will fully implement the positives efforts to the seperation,” Manager of Bread Shop, Nutrients and Health Development, Allied Bakeries, Nicky Gillett said so.
He thought, as quoted from The Grocer, sustainable palm oil is important to the business, knowing that the consumers will lead to the sustainable and environmental global agricultural system.
“Our goal is to keep cooperating with the suppliers and industries to ensure and use sustainable palm oil,” he said. (T3)
