LONDON – Crude palm oil price (CPO) on Thursday (29/1) was cheaper because of the slow demand in the soybean oil markets in United States of America.

Quoting from Business Record, Friday (30/1), the broker said that the decreasing CPO will effect the demand in the markets and it will also be potencial to limit the biofuel demands.\
RBD palm olein in trade decreased from US$ 16,50 to US$ 602,50 per ton, while palm kernel in April/May could be US$ 900,00. It is not as good as the previous trade which was US$ 942,50 . Soybean and rapeseed oil also decreased. (T3)
