PEKANBARU – Crude palm oil (CPO) trade in the global markets is fluctuative still. In January 2015, CPO is still influenced by the competitiveness of CPO and other kinds of vegetable oil which are sunflower, soybean, corn, and other commodities.
The fluctuative CPO price or fresh fruit is not really complained by Head of Plantation Agency, Riau Province, Zuhler. He thought, the CPO trade is one golden trade and it is fluctuative.
“The CPO trade is easily effected by many factors – the CPO could easily increase and decrease. Do not worry. In Riau, for example, in the first three weeks in January, the fruit price increased but in the fourth week, the fruit price decreased. But it might happen that it will be increasing again,” he said as written in RRI, Thursday (29/1) last week. (T3)
