KUALA LUMPUR - Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK), on January 12th, 2015 announced to help the employees and the people hitting by the flood in Kelantan. The company gave more than RM1.000.000.
“I am so sad when seeing directly the damages caused by the flood in Kelantan. I am sad to see our people. But I am very grateful that every employee of KLK and their families, about 4.000 men are safe from the flood. I hope, this help could be enlighten their burdens,” Chief Executive Officer, Tan Sri Lee Oi Hian said in his official statement.
He continued, KLK will keep taking care of the employees by giving aid until they get normal life.
The cash for 520 families suffering the damages will be finished in several days to go. KLK will pay the salary of 1.700 employees though they temporarily stop working. (T3)
