OSLO -World Resources Institute has launched Greenhouse Gas Protocol Accounting Guidance for the companies and the governments to report their emission from the electricity they use (Scope/scale 2)

This is recommended to know how the companies count and report their greenhouse gas. This guidance is also to know the buying of energy practices in the business world. For the first time, REC and I REC are made as the instruments to document and trace the electricitty which is used as the renewable energy resource.

“In 2015 global risk (by World Economic Forum), every failure in the lists in adapting climate changes could be the biggest risk in 2015. It is hoped that companies could solve the increasing greenhouse gas effect. But you could only change what you measure. We are sure that in 2015, every single company could document, that they use the electricity from renewable energy,” Managing Director ECOHZ, Tom Lindberg said in his official statement which InfoSAWIT got, Tuesday, (20/1)

Greenhouse gas – protocol (GHG – P) is an accounting series which the government and business leaders use to understand, measure, process the greenhouse gas emission. The new version of GHG – P in scope 2 is to give better prospect in business and the government could choose the instrument to get the low cabon energy solution. This will urge and support the government to measure, process and report their greenhouse gas emission from their electricity and turn to use electricity from renewable source of energy. (T3)
