PETALING JAYA – Malaysian experts in palm oil hoped, crude palm oil (CPO) price will be stable in the first semester of this year, 2015.
Advisor of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Chandran mentioned, he himself convinced, the average price of CPO could be RM 2.400 per ton than the last year price which was RM 2.383,50.
He hoped, the raw oil could be US$ 70 per barrel, which will help the CPO price higher. Now the raw barrel in the world just reaches US$ 50 per barrel.
Chandran also told to StarBiz, Tuesday (20/1) the demands from developing countries, such as, China and India and the mixture of B7 of biofuel will support the CPO price to be better. (T3)
