JAKARTA – To face and prevent the fire in the forest and area happening regularly in every single year, Ministry of Environment and Forestry and National Disaster Agency keep coordinating.
“After the meeting in Province of Riau, (8/1) and South Sumatera (13/1), it is planned that the meeting will be held in West Kalimantan (20/1), and President of Indonesian Republic will be there there,” Secretary of Environment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya said, Sunday (18/1).
Beside that, the coordination will be held in Ministry of Environment and Forestry in the central government together with National Disaster Agency with its I to IV ... on Saturday, (17/1) in the central training in Cibinong.
Furthermore, Siti explained, some of the disasters relating to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, in general, are the ecologic ones, such as, drought, fire in the forest, flood, wind, eruption, deformation of the earth, earth quake, pollutions of waste.
“It is always happenning the main disasters are caused by the nature, such as, climate changes, weather, the area and men made,” she explained. (T3)
