MAMUJU – Based on the price fruit making team, Plantation Agency, Province of West Sulawesi, in January 2013, the fresh fruit of 10 to 20 year old increases Rp1.472,24/kg.
Head of Management and Marketing Plantation Result, Plantation Agency, Province of West Sulawesi, Abdul Waris Bestari said, the fresh fruit price is done after the government, farmers and private sectors in West Sulawesi agreed.
“The fruit price in West Sulawesi increasd about Rp 0.24/kg. It is more expensive than the previous month, or the end of last year,” he said as quoted from Antara, Thursday (15/1).
He thought, it is increasing because the palm oil cartel does too about 5% though the CPO does not increase. (T3)
