JAKARTA – A multisector company, Sinarmas invested about US$ 4,3 billions in pulp and paper, palm oil downstream, biomass and renewable energy crude palm oil (CPO) base sectors. But the numbers are not included in infrastructure, telecommunication and property sectors.
Managing Director Sinarmas, Gandhi Sulistiyanto said, the pulp and paper investement will be done by PT OKI Pulp & Paper, about US$ 3 billions. While in the downstream and CPO derivatives will be done by PT Energi Sejahtera Mas about US$ 300 millions.
“The two companies have tax holidays given by the government, they are, free from Income Tax for about 7 – 10 years and the discount of it about 50 percent for about two years,” he said, Wednesday (7/1/2015), as written in Investor Daily. (T3)
