TANJUNGPANDAN -Vice Regent of Belitung, Erwandi A Rani, Monday (5/1) said, the land will be dry if palm oil trees are not productive. This will have much time and money to restore the previous situation.

So he hoped, the area in Belitung should be looked after. He thought, when the time comes up, there will be dry land only and this will effect the people to have plantation.

Regent of Belitung, Sahani Saleh said the same thing. He thought, when palm oil trees are no more productive, the land will be wiped out. “It is true that there will be dry land. But based on the researches, the water will be dry. The roots will be difficult to melt with the soil except there is a new technology,” he said as written in Radar Bangka. (T3)
