PEKANBARU –Head of Plantation Agency, Riau Province said, palm oil fresh fruit in 2014 was good in price than it in 2013. Ten years of old palm oil fruit is Rp 1.831,85/kg or it is higher than it in the previous which was Rp 1.526,8/kg.
While in 2014 the average price for three years old fruit is Rp 1.312,42/kg, the crude palm oil (CPO) price isRp 8.293,96/kg, and palm kernel oil (PKO) is Rp 5.257,51/kg.
“In 2014 there were lots of problems which effected the fruit price, such as, the slow economic progress in the world, the political years and the negative issues in palm oil industries. But the fruit price was good and stable,” he said, Monday (05/01/2015), as qouted from Spirit Riau.
If it is put according to the Fresh Fruit Price Making Team, the data shows that 2014 was better than it in 2013. It was constantly higher than Rp 1500/kg. And this increased than it in 2013.. (T3)
