JAKARTA – Director of Bioenergy, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource, DadanKusdiana, Sunday, (4/1/2015) said, in 2014 the absorption of biodiesel was about 1,8 millions kilo liter (kl) or it did not get the target which was 2,1 millions kl.

 

But, he fetl optimistic that the absorption of vegetable oil of biodiesel will be 4,8 millions of kiloliter in 2015. “This year, Pertamina guarantees, all regions are ready to sell B10. We are optimistic to reach the target,” he said as quoted from Sindo News.

 

Beside PT Pertamina (Persero), the government also tries to increase the absorption of biodiesel in State Electrity Power (Persero) especially in eastern Indonesia. Dadan also ensured, the absorption will be in mining sectors.

 

“The needs of diesel vegetable oil in mining sectors is much, about 3 millions kilo liter per year. Having the mandatory, the mining sectors should absorb 300.000 kiloliter,” he said. (T3)
