JAKARTA – For national palm oil industries often get accusation from European, the government should make better promotion. Vice Minister of Trade, Bayu Krisnamurthi said, his side keeps giving informations about national palm oil industries, that is, to convince the European parliament that national palm oil industries are not damaging the environment. The second, policy advocacy – the government keeps trying to convince all stakeholders relating to national palm oil industries, such as, tax, local government, and banks. “We need many objective data and scientific base so that we can convince the stakeholders,” Bayu recently mentioned to InfoSAWIT  in Jakarta.

The third is to spread the informations in scientific base, such as to EPA NODA which accused, national palm oil industries damage the environment. So Bayu continued, the most important thing in the future is, palm oil industries should have competent human resources to tell scientific informations to the other countries which accuse palm oil industies have many negative effects. “We have many massive companies, so act massively too,” he ended his words.
