InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) tender price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) edged down slightly on Monday, October 5, 2026, while Malaysian palm oil futures rebounded after six consecutive sessions of losses.
KPBN set its CPO price at Rp14,605 per kilogram, down Rp3/kg, or approximately 0.02%, from the highest bid recorded on Friday, October 2, at Rp14,608/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO Franco Belawan price was set at Rp14,605/kg. Meanwhile, FOB Talang Duku was priced at Rp14,355/kg, while Franco Teluk Bayur opened at Rp14,405/kg.
In contrast, palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives strengthened on Monday, supported by gains in Chicago soybean oil prices as market participants awaited the latest data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).
According to Reuters, as published by InfoSAWIT, the benchmark December 2026 palm oil contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed RM43 per tonne higher, up 0.95%, at RM4,578 per tonne, equivalent to US$1,120.69.
Chicago Board of Trade soybean oil futures also gained 1.85%. Meanwhile, commodity markets in Dalian, China, remained closed for a national holiday and were scheduled to resume trading on October 8.
