InfoSAWIT, PADANG – Oil palm fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices in West Sumatra have been set at Rp3,966.94 per kilogram for plantations aged 10–20 years for the period October 1–7, 2026, according to the provincial FFB pricing committee.
The prices were agreed during a meeting held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Plantation Division Hall on Jalan Rasuna Said No. 77 in Padang. The decision was documented in official minutes issued by the West Sumatra Provincial Plantation, Food Crops and Horticulture Office.
According to InfoSAWIT, citing the official pricing minutes, the rates were determined based on plantation age, using a K Index of 94.34%. The pricing schedule covers oil palm plantations aged three to 25 years.
West Sumatra FFB Prices by Plantation Age
The following prices apply for October 1–7, 2026:
3 years: Rp3,118.41/kg
4 years: Rp3,294.69/kg
5 years: Rp3,489.94/kg
6 years: Rp3,603.21/kg
7 years: Rp3,741.88/kg
8 years: Rp3,879.82/kg
9 years: Rp3,956.49/kg
10–20 years: Rp3,966.94/kg
21 years: Rp3,816.12/kg
22 years: Rp3,809.34/kg
23 years: Rp3,751.10/kg
24 years: Rp3,575.28/kg
25 years: Rp3,533.92/kg
CPO Reference Price Set at Rp15,554.38/kg
The pricing formula for the first period of October 2026 used a crude palm oil (CPO) reference price of Rp15,554.38 per kilogram. Palm kernel prices were set at Rp13,124.34/kg, while the shell price used in the calculation was Rp15.63/kg.
These components, together with the K Index of 94.34%, were used to determine FFB prices according to the applicable yield factors for each plantation age group. (T2)
