InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) market recorded a modest increase on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with the price set by PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) rising to IDR 15,702 per kilogram.
The latest price was up IDR 34 per kilogram, or around 0.22%, from IDR 15,668 per kilogram recorded on Monday, August 10, 2026.
According to data obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price at Franco Dumai was set at IDR 15,702 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the FOB Talang Duku price stood at IDR 15,452 per kilogram, while the Franco Teluk Bayur price reached IDR 15,502 per kilogram.
The price movement comes as Malaysia’s palm oil market is expected to remain relatively firm during the second half of 2026, despite rising production and inventories.
Public Investment Bank Bhd, through PublicInvest Research, noted that concerns over a potential decline in yields due to El Niño developments could provide support for CPO prices through the end of the year.
Malaysia’s palm oil inventories increased for the fourth consecutive month in July 2026, reaching their highest level in five months. Stocks rose 3.3% month-on-month to around 2.6 million tonnes, mainly due to higher production amid weaker domestic consumption.
Despite the increase in inventories, the stock-to-use ratio declined from 13% to 12.5%. The development suggests that rising stocks have not yet fundamentally altered the balance of Malaysia’s palm oil market.

For crude palm kernel oil (CPKO), the Franco Dumai and Franco Belawan prices were both set at IDR 29,187/kg, while FOB Lampung stood at IDR 29,113/kg and FOB Palembang at IDR 28,943/kg.
Meanwhile, the palm kernel price at Franco Medan/Belawan was recorded at IDR 13,075/kg. (T2)
