Riau Plasma Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices Rise for May 27–June 2, 2026

InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB/TBS) prices for plasma Smallholders in Riau Province increased for the May 27–June 2, 2026 pricing period, following the latest decision issued by the provincial pricing committee.

Referring to Price Determination Letter No. 18 for the May 27–June 2, 2026 period, the Riau FFB pricing team agreed to raise the benchmark price for nine-year-old oil palm trees by Rp65.73 per kilogram. The new price stands at Rp3,932.63/kg.

According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Plantation Agency, FFB prices varied according to tree age.

Three-year-old palms were priced at Rp3,041.30/kg, while four-year-old trees reached Rp3,438.43/kg. Prices for five-year and six-year-old palms were set at Rp3,641.27/kg and Rp3,798.39/kg respectively. Seven-year-old palms were valued at Rp3,881.22/kg and eight-year-old palms at Rp3,926.93/kg.

For mature plantations, nine-year-old palms fetched Rp3,932.63/kg, while trees aged 10–20 years were priced at Rp3,912.63/kg. Prices then gradually declined for older plantations, reaching Rp3,852.63/kg at age 21 and Rp3,424.05/kg for 30-year-old palms.

 

CPO and Kernel Prices Support Adjustment

The pricing committee also set supporting commodity values used in calculating FFB prices.

Crude palm oil (CPO) was valued at Rp15,311.62/kg, while palm kernel prices were established at Rp15,295.58/kg. Shell value was set at Rp19.15/kg, with the K index determined at 93.30%.

The increase in Riau’s plasma FFB prices reflects movements in supporting commodity prices and the province’s official pricing formula, although actual field prices may vary depending on local trading conditions and mill purchasing policies. (T2)
