ICW Reported the Plantation Licence about 1.225 Hectares to CEC

JAKARTA - Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) reported a palm oil licence involving 1.225 hectares in Leuser Ecosystem Region to the Curruption Eradication Commission (CEC). The area is in Sabussalam and it is suspected belonging to PT Indo Sawit Perkasa.

In the report, date on March 27th, 2015, ICW cooperates with MasyarakatTransparansi Aceh (MaTA) also reported the decision makers of the licence, such as, the Governor of Aceh, and Major of Sabussalam.

Head of Corruption and Justice Devision of MaTA, Baihaqisaid, the plantation licence in Leuser Ecosystem Region which was reported is No. 188.45/20/2013 about the Giving of Palm Oil Plantation Licence to PT Indo Sawit Perkasa about1.225 hectares in Subdistrict of Sultan Daulat, Subulussalamwhich was given by the Major.

The next is that the Governor officially gave a decision, No.525/BP2T/2014/2014 about the Cultivation Plantation Business Licence to PT Indo Sawit Perkasa. “The licences have been reported to CEC on March 27th, 2015,”Baihaqi said, Monday (30/3) as quoted fromHabadaily.

He explained, there are some broken laws by giving palm oil licence to PT Indo SawitPekrasa, such as, The Regulation No. 11 / 2006 about the Government of Aceh, Article 150, paragraph (2). (T3)
