InfoSAWIT, YOGYAKARTA – A total of 56 scholarship students from INSTIPER Yogyakarta have completed competency certification as oil palm plantation assistants, marking a key step toward entering the workforce.
The certification was conducted by LSP PHI through written exams and structured practical assessments.
Rector Harsawardana said the certification validates students’ readiness to manage plantation units professionally.
“This ensures graduates not only hold degrees but also industry-recognized competencies,” he said.
The program, supported by Indonesia’s palm oil fund agency, aims to strengthen human capital in the plantation sector. Graduates are expected to contribute to both corporate plantations and smallholder development. (T2)
