AEK KUO –Palm oil farmers in Dusun III, Village of Aek Korsik, Subditrict of Aek Kuo, District of North Labuhanbatu felt sorry for the heavy tool operator, kinds of Beko who damaged their palm oil plantation.
In the first place, the farmers thought, the operator said, he was told by someone having initial RTT. He was ordered to make trench as the border of the area. But in fact, besides making the trench, the operator also bulldozed the area belonging to some farmers around the trench. There were, at least, 15 productive palm oil trees, bulldozed.
The local people, Miskun (44) and Heru Wahyudi (34) confessed, they have the land certification which the National Land Agency had given since 1998 and which the man confessing as Cakra, a people of Medan, had bulldozed.
Miskun said, he has cultivated the area since 1998. “We are worry for 15 palm oil trees have been bulldozed,” he said as quoted from Metro Siantar, recently. (T3)
