InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for independent smallholders in Riau Province increased for the April 15–21, 2026 period, reflecting improved palm oil market fundamentals.
Based on the official pricing decree No. 12 issued by the provincial pricing team, the benchmark price for 9-year-old oil palm rose by Rp81.04/kg to reach Rp4,088.09/kg.
According to data compiled from the Riau Plantation Agency, FFB prices across age categories also showed variation. Prices ranged from Rp3,170.97/kg for 3-year-old palms to Rp4,069.21/kg for 8-year-old palms.
Meanwhile, palms aged 10–20 years were priced at Rp3,047.87/kg, with older trees seeing gradual declines in value, down to Rp3,453.19/kg for 30-year-old palms.
The pricing formula also factored in crude palm oil (CPO) prices at Rp16,199.64/kg and kernel prices at Rp16,679.00/kg, with a K index of 92.76%. (T2)
