InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Shares of PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (IDX: SMAR) closed higher at the end of trading on Friday (February 20, 2026), rising 4.52% or 250 points to Rp5,775 per share.
Based on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) trading data as of 16:40 WIB, the palm oil plantation issuer under the Sinar Mas Group showed a positive trend from the first trading session.
At the opening, SMAR shares moved around Rp5,525 before surging significantly toward the end of the first session and briefly surpassing Rp6,000 per share.
During the second session, SMAR shares experienced a mild correction and traded steadily within the Rp5,750–Rp5,850 range until market close. The previous closing price stood at Rp5,525 per share, indicating positive sentiment toward plantation sector stocks.
In the same trading session, shares of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) declined by 0.98% to Rp7,575 per share, while PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (SIMP) gained 1.69% to Rp600 per share. (T2)
