JAKARTA –Government of Indonesia will make new approach about the crude palm oil (CPO) and the derivatives Out Fee (OF). The government will get US$ 50 per ton from CPO and US$ 30 per ton from the derivative when running OF on CPO exports.
Quoting from Detik Finance, Coordinator Secretary in Economy, SofyanDjalilsaid, the new tax is the subsidy from the government to the palm oil industries. The tax will be kept in the “basket” of CPO Supporting Fund (CSF)
“The fund will be used in CSF as the supports for the industries,” he said, Friday (20/3).
He also explained, the mechanism is when the international CPO price is lower than US$ 750, the tax will be US$ 50 per ton and will be directly implemented. And the Out Fee will be nothing or )%. (T3)
